Project Overview

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board provides a wide and unique range of services to the local population and wider-Wales. As a teaching Health Board and centre of excellence in many areas, they employ some of the best clinicians in their field.

Following a successful and extensive tender process, we were appointed to refurbish a new building called Global Link. Work required included the installation and relocation of partitioning, reconfiguring mechanical and electrical systems, new flooring and lighting, CCTV and access control, upgraded fire alarm system and new tea points.

Everyone realised the Project would be a challenge. We were working within an existing building with old systems that had to be brought up to current standards and legislation, and where there were many unknowns above the existing ceilings and behind existing Walls. 

But regardless of this, through working as a team, we completed the project on budget and within the demanding timescale.
