Project Overview
Midatech Pharma moved to their new office building at Caspian Point on the city's waterfront, where it has created 8,050 square feet of Offices and Laboratories, on the ground and first floors.
It was advised on the transaction by the Cardiff office of property conusltants Knight Frank, whose Building Consultancy Team Project Managed the CAT A works and the Fit Out of the new premises.
Office Visions were invited to tender for the works and following a comprehensive Tender process, we were awarded the contract to complete the Fit Out of the space.
Having won the contract, the objective was to provide Midatech with an enviroment that was very different to the norm, modern and innovative, whilst still being practical and providing the purpose designed laboratories, essential to the continued success of the Business.
This was achieved through not installing traditional suspended ceilings, but by exposing the mechanical and electrical installations and fitting them to the building's soffits, utilising galvanised trunking and simple but modern light fittings.
The branded graphic imagery applied to various storage walls, also added to the distinct feel of the space.
The £440,000 project was completed within budget and to the tight 12 week timeline we provided, which left the client delighted with the performance of the Office Visions team.
